I really can’t remember a time in my life that I was not involved in the food industry in one form or another. I was 14 when I had my first dishwashing job - which then led to waitressing, bartending, catering, cooking, management, and eventually ownership. I successfully owned my restaurant Alldays & Onions, in Bennington VT for over 20 years.
I went to Keene State College with a major in education and children's drama. I wanted to teach teachers the use of drama. So it’s no surprise that I am now in school food service. I am passionate about nutrition and the health of our children and feel blessed that I can be part of a company with the same goals and agenda for our communities.
I live on a mountain, on a lake, and in my free time I enjoy everything that home life offers in all seasons. I have a Siberian Husky - Shadow, who is my constant outdoor companion.
